The Cannonball House in Macon,Ga. So called because on July 30,1864 a Union cannonball landed in the parlor and caused minor damage. Now a museum where that actual cannonball is displayed.The Woodruff House in Macon, Ga. Built in 1836, now open to the public for tours. In 1887, the daughter of Jefferson Davis had her 16th birthday party here.

Not very good photos, but "The Confederate Cemetary" where hundreds of unknown soldiers from the civil war were buried...Plaque states that there is a small white marker in memory of every fallen, unknown soldier that died at a battle on this very hill where graves are.
I took this standing in my front yard right after a huge storm. Kinda nice...My cousin standing at the place we used to swim....even skipped school a time or two and hung out there all day. Guess mama will know now!
